I am a professional photographer and entrepreneur from Caracas, Venezuela, living in Seattle, WA. I am also a fan of airplanes, travel, startups, baseball, and daydreaming.
Upon moving to the U.S., I pursued an MFA in Photography. For the last eight years, I’ve been dedicated to my photography practice, Valentina Vitols Studio. Running my own business has given me the opportunity to travel and work with clients around the world, predominantly in the U.S., Latin America, and Asia. My work has been published by The Food Network, Delta Sky Magazine, Jet Airlines Magazine, Interior Design Magazine, Where Magazine, Restaura Magazine, Seattle Magazine, Seattle Metropolitan (online), King5′s Evening Magazine, MyNorthwest.com and Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution.
I have documentary work from Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Costa Rica, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, United Kingdom, India, Tanzania, Italy, France, Croatia, Venezuela and the US, and have worked with clients in Caracas, Miami, Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, Vancouver BC and London, UK. I also published a book, “Buenos Aires, Diario de Viaje”.
Currently, I live and work in Seattle, WA. In the past, I volunteered as a Photography Instructor for children and youth at Esperanza Viva, a home for youth in Puebla, Mexico, through Aver School. I also worked for an amazing startup company called Shutter Tours, conducting photographic tours in Seattle.
I make sure I am always surrounded by good, warm coffee, chocolate, farmers markets, great chefs and food, and water to enjoy with my husband Ryan.
